Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Fastigiata'

 Upright False Holly is an elegant variety of sweet olive that is a dense, multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a narrowly upright and columnar growth habit. Its dark green, holly-like foliage creates a beautiful accent in the landscape. The shrub is adorned with stunning, fragrant creamy white tubular flowers in early fall. Additionally, its smooth dark gray bark provides significant winter interest.

  • Maintenance: Low maintenance, best pruned in late winter after the threat of extreme cold has passed

  • Deer tend to avoid Upright False Holly, preferring other plants
